Boston Pops by the Sea!
Held in Hyannis, MA every August, for over 30 years this fundraiser and musical event has grown to be one of the biggest and most important cultural events in Cape Cod. The event was designed to serve the needs of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and their “Arts for Everyone” program.
Cape Cod residents and visitors from all over New England and the world gather on the Hyannis Village Green to take part in this one-of-a-kind concert. Enjoy the festival from the lawn or with festival and VIP seating. Whatever you choose, all money goes towards the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, making the Pops by the Sea concert a great way to celebrate the arts while enjoying a beautiful summer’s day on Cape Cod.
The 2019 lineup for Pops by the Sea is sure to delight your ears with local entertainment from acapella groups Cape Harmony and Hyannis Sound. Actor and classically trained musician Dermot Mulrooney is this years guest conductor, with main Maestro duties being performed by long time Boston Pops Conductor Keith Lockhart. Lockhart will conduct the Orchestra as they perform the works of notable composer, Leonard Bernstein, famous for his compositions in West Side Story, Peter Pan, On the Waterfront, among many, many others.
