Animals:

Dogs, Cats, Birds or any other Pets cannot be transported. 

ADA service animals - accompanying a legally deaf, blind or disabled person - are the only animals allowed on P & B buses.    Service animals may not travel in the aisle or occupy a seat and are the responsibility of its owner and must be under the control of its owner at all times.

Plymouth & Brockton reserves the right to refuse passage to any animal that poses a direct threat to the health and safety of other customers and or company personnel.

Baggage:

Baggage will not be checked on P & B lines.

All baggage will be transported in the baggage compartments and will be limited to 2 pieces per adult ticket and 1 piece per child's ticket.

Carry-on bags are limited to 1 piece, per person and must be placed in over-head racks in such a manner as not to endanger other passengers.

No baggage will be placed in seats in any manner as to occupy space thus preventing a paying passenger from a seat.


Excess baggage will be carried at the charge of $5.00 per bag.

P & B IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR MISPLACED BAGGAGE, BUT WILL ENDEAVOR TO LOCATE SAME.

Bicycles:

Bicycles may be carried in the baggage compartments when there is sufficient room after all other baggage and express has been loaded - at the owners risk (Plymouth & Brockton is not responsible for damage to any bicycles - boxed or unboxed) - at the prevailing tariff rate.  See Fare Chart.

Bicycles must be carried in a separate baggage compartment or placed in such a manner as not to damage any baggage or express in any way.

There is no guarantee that bicycles will be accepted by connecting carriers. 
In addition -- connecting carriers may require that bicycles are boxed.

In the event that weather conditions warrant the cancellation of bus service - due to driving conditions being a threat to the safety of our passengers, notice will be announced over the following stations:

Cell Phone Use:

Cell phone usage is discouraged on all Plymouth & Brockton buses with the exception of those situations where either a quick message or circumstances beyond our control delays the arrival time of  a trip where passenger connections cannot be met.

Plymouth & Brockton requests that the use of cellular phones be limited with respect to your fellow passengers.

Children's Fares:

Children - 5 years old & under 12 years old will be charged one-half (1/2) of the adult fare.

Children - under 5 years of age  (maximum of 2),  not occupying seats to the exclusion of other paying passengers, will be carried free.
Any additional children shall each pay a fare of one-half (1/2) of the adult fare

All children must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older) when riding coaches; otherwise they shall be charged full fare.

When PURCHASING a 1/2 fare ticket, the CHILDREN MUST BE IN COMPANY OF THE PURCHASER.

Commuter Checks:

Commuter Checks can be redeemed for Plymouth & Brockton tickets.

This is a national employee benefit program that reduces the cost of commuting by public transportation.  The Commuter Check program can be provided as a fringe benefit (your employer can subsidize your commuting costs. tax-free, up to $65 per month).  Commuter Checks can also be provided as a pre-tax deduction from an employees salary (your employer can allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars, up to $65 per month, to pay for your own transit costs).

Since it is a tax-free benefit, each $20 Commuter Check (for example) is worth over $30 in taxable salary.

     Please send us a detailed letter addressed to our Customer Service Department or an email
     CONTACT US .  Include the date, location & time of the incident; the bus # (if applicable) and a
    description or name of the personnel involved. 

    Unsigned correspondence and/or correspondences without a valid return address and telephone
    number cannot receive a response -- nor can appropriate action be taken in the case of a complaint.

bullet Barnstable:

The Barnstable State Commuter Parking Lot Is Located Behind Burger King On Route 132 -- At The Junction Of Route 6, And Route 132 (Exit 6).
Free Parking In The State Operated Commuter Parking Facility.

Purchase Tickets  At The Barnstable Mobil Mart (Next To Burger King).

bulletHyannis Transportation Center:

P & B Operates Out Of The Hyannis Transportation Center On 215 Iyannough Road.  (see map)

The Hyannis Transportation Center is located at the intersection of Main St. and Center St. in downtown Hyannis.

Traveling East On Route 6 (From The Cape Cod Canal):  Take Exit 6 Onto Route 132.  Turn Right And Continue To The Hyannis Airport Rotary.  Take The Second Right Off The Rotary Onto Barnstable Road – After ¾ Of A Mile Turn Left Onto Center Street.  The Entrance to the Transportation Center Is 2 Blocks On The Left. Look For The Transportation Sign On The Left.

Traveling West On Route 6 (From The Outer Cape):  Take Route 6 To Exit 7 (Willow St.).  At The End Of The Ramp - Go South On Willow St. Toward The Airport And Hyannis (Willow St. Turns Into Yarmouth Rd.).  At The Traffic Light At The Intersection Of Yarmouth Rd. And Rte 28, Go Straight Across The Intersection And Veer Right To Stay On Yarmouth Rd.  At The End Of The Street (At The Stop Sign) Make A Right Turn Onto Main St.  Then Make The Next Right Turn At The Traffic Light Onto Center St.  The Transportation Center Entrance Is Immediately On Your Right.

Paid Long & Short Term Parking - Operated By The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority.

P & B’s Park Square Boarding Site Is At The Center Of Park Square Across From The Motor Mart Parking Garage – Near 200 Stuart Street. 
The Four Prominent Buildings Surrounding The Site Are:  The State Transportation Building -  The Radisson - The Park Plaza Hotel   - And The Four Seasons Hotel 

The Nearest Green Line Stop On The M.B.T.A. Is Arlington Station.

Purchase Tickets At The Greyline Tours/Beantown Trolley Office Inside The State Transportation Building. (see map)

There Is NO Bus Service to Park Square on Saturdays - Sundays or Holidays.

The Sagamore State Commuter Parking Lot Is Located off Route 3  -- On Canal Road.

The South Station Transportation Center Is Located At 700 Atlantic Ave -- Adjacent To Amtrak.
The M.B.T.A. Red Line  Has A Stop At South Station. (see map)

Driving North On The Southeast Expressway, Take The Kneeland Street/Chinatown Exit And Bear Right At The End Of The Ramp Onto Atlantic Ave.
Paid Parking Is Available On The Roof.

Lost Articles:

If you leave any personal article in a bus, report your loss to the nearest agent or  CONTACT US   - as soon as possible.                                                         
Give full description of the article, the date of the loss, the point between which you traveled, and the time of day - as well as your name and a method for us to contact you.

We cannot, of course, be responsible for articles left in coaches or terminals, but we will make every effort to recover your property for you.

Objectionable Persons:

This company reserves the right to refuse to transport a person under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, or who is incapable of taking care of himself or herself, or whose conduct is such or likely to be such as to make him or her objectionable to other passengers or prospective passengers.

Health Department regulations require that footwear be worn at all times by passengers.

Radios:

Radios or other sound equipment are permitted only when used with ear plugs so as not to inconvenience other passengers who may wish to relax or carry on quiet conversations.

Refunds:

Refunds will not be issued at our ticket counters or agencies.

Tickets will be redeemed to Purchaser at the fare paid when no portion of the ticket has been used.

Commutation tickets used in part are not redeemable.

Tickets will be redeemed provided that they are presented prior to expiration date -
Expired tickets are non-refundable.

Round trip discount does not apply to refund requests (the one way fare will be deducted from the round trip purchase price, prior to assessing any service charge).

Refunds will not be issued due to delayed departure and/or arrival times as these cannot be guaranteed as both can be affected by a number of factors including weather, traffic and other conditions beyond our immediate control. 
Plymouth & Brockton is not liable for any inconvenience or expense caused as a result of such a delay.  In addition, Plymouth & Brockton is not liable for any other travel expenses caused by a delay.

A service charge of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per ticket will be charged on all refunds made.

Application for refund on tickets must be made in all cases to the general offices of this company at:  8 Industrial Park Road, Plymouth, Massachusetts 02360-4828.

Reservations:

All service is on a first-come, first-served basis.  With the exception of wheelchair lifts, reservations are not available. 
If you are traveling with a  group of 10 or more people, please contact our operations department @ 508-746-0378 (option # 8) so we can make arrangements to accommodate you.

Seating:

Seats are for ticketed passengers only on a first come - first served basis.

Tickets are not date or trip specific, therefore advance ticketing does not guarantee seating.

Passengers may only occupy one seat for travel and seating cannot be utilized for luggage storage and/or extra seating space.

Passengers requiring extra seating space must pay for each additional seat at full fare.

Senior Citizens:

Discount Fares for Senior Citizens - Age 65 or Older (proof of age required) - are available at P&B Terminals and Agencies ONLY for transportation to and from Downtown Boston.

Sorry -- NO Senior Fares to Logan Airport

Drivers do not have discount tickets available.

Seniors must ask for the discount at the time of sale. 

P&B  cannot provide refunds for discounts requested after the fact.

Stops:

Please use designated bus stops at all times as coaches of this company will load and unload passengers at designated stops only.

 No Park Square Bus Service Nights - Weekends - or Holidays.


Logan Airport Bus Stops

TERMINAL A: Bus stop is located on lower level.
TERMINAL B: Bus picks up at three locations on lower level: outside baggage claim areas at US Airways, America West Airlines and American Airlines.
TERMINAL C: Bus stop is located on lower level
TERMINAL E: Located at curbside at bus shelter. Look for "Scheduled Buses" sign.


East Milton Square
- Northbound passengers will be discharged at "ABS" Computer Bldg., East Milton, upon request to driver - only when the HOV lane is not in use. Passengers will not be transported between East Milton Sq. and Boston or Boston and East Milton.

Tickets:

Tickets must be purchased from a terminal or agency, whenever one is available.  In the absence of such, tickets may be purchased in cash from the driver, upon boarding.

If you wish to purchase your tickets in advance, using your Discover, Master Card or Visa:
Call us at 508-746-0378, and select "Administration" from the Main Menu (Monday - Friday 8:30 AM Till 4:30 PM).  We will be happy to take your credit card information and mail your tickets.  Please allow enough time for postal delivery.

Tickets may be purchased (in an emergency situation) at one Plymouth & Brockton terminal for passengers boarding at another Plymouth & Brockton terminal location.  A service charge of $5.00 will be charged on all 'prepaid ticket orders'.  Prepaid tickets are non-refundable.

One Way Tickets are valid for 60 days from date of purchase.

Discounted Round Trip Tickets are valid for use at any time within 1 year from date of purchase.

Children under 12 will be carried at a reduced rate - Only When Accompanied by an Adult, 18 Years or Older!
Children under under 5 years old (maximum of 2) will be carried at no charge when not occupying seats to the exclusion of paying passengers.
When purchasing a child fare ticket, children must be in the company of the purchaser.

Ten (10) Ride Commuter Books are available from most locations to and from Downtown Boston.  (Sorry we do not offer commuter fares to Logan Airport).
Each book has ten (one way) tickets and is valid for 30 days from date of sale.  Please note that commuter tickets are Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable.
Boston to Logan Tickets are NOT VALID IN CONJUNCTION WITH A COMMUTER TICKET

These numbers which are at the top of each column on the schedules indicate the following:

a. Even numbered trips are TO BOSTON; Odd indicates trips FROM BOSTON.
b. The first numeral of each trip number indicates the line upon which the trip runs as
      follows:

Wheelchair Reservations:

Passengers requiring a wheelchair accessible bus must make reservations with Plymouth and Brockton 24 hours prior to their trip, in order to assure that a lift-equipped bus will be assigned to the proper trip.
Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate  requests not made 24 hours in advance, however without a reservation, we cannot guarantee that a lift-equipped bus will be available.
